January 7th, 2006 - The discharge gates were closed on Friday, January 6th at 5pm. Look for the reservoir to reach regular overflow depth in the next couple of days.

January 5th, 2006 - Good News Everyone! Check out this announcement from the County and from the FCRPS regarding the water level in the reservoir:

On Wednesday, January 4, 2006 the County will commence testing operation of the discharge doors at the dam. If all works as expected the doors will be closed for keeps this coming Friday, January 6. We can then expect the water in the reservoir to rise to normal overflow levels starting that date.

Please be ready with your dock construction work by this coming Friday.

December 21st, 2005 -The meeting minutes of the December 14th meeting have been posted. Everyone is most concerned about the water level in the reservoir. The latest update suggests that the water should rise in the first week of January. Click here for the complete details.

Work is continuing on finding a solution to silt build up and removal of silt in the reservoir.

Removal of storm debris has been requested, but there is not yet word on when this will be done.
